There are a number of heart risk calculators that can be used to estimate your risk of having heart disease in the next 10 years. If your risk is high, it might be time to take some serious steps to lower your risk. To find out your risk, calculate it online.

A comprehensive online calculator prepared by the American College of Cardiology is available here. Be sure to select SI (metric) units at the top of the form. It defaults to US measurements so you have to switch to SI to enter your metric measurements.
